New Member's Guide Introduction
|
Getting InvolvedThere are many things to do in the SCA. Because we recreate all aspects of medieval culture and life, you should be able to find something to do that you enjoy. If you are like many people, you will find too much that you want to do! Local ActivitiesOne way that you can get involved with the SCA is to attend local activities, like meetings and fighter practices. A list of current activities is included with this Guide. Own InterestsA second way to get involved in the SCA is to develop interests of your own and recreate the arts, crafts and sciences that you are interested in. The list below is just a sample of the interests and expertise of some of the people in this area. Contact the local Minister &Arts and Sciences to get in touch with people who share your interests, or if you are interested in something that is not represented on this list.
EventsA third way to get involved in the SCA is to attend events, both locally and out of town. This is where you will meet a lot of people who share your interest in the Middle Ages and also where you will see the SCA "in action." The Seneschal can give you additional information on event locations and dates. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
